This Service Description describes the functionality of the Personnelgraph background screening platform (the “Platform”). This document is provided for informational purposes only and does not amend or replace the Personnelgraph Terms of Service or any executed Order Form.

1. Platform Overview
Personnelgraph is a cloud-based background screening platform designed for U.S. employers to request and receive criminal court record information for employment-related purposes in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”).
The Platform enables employers to:
Collect FCRA-compliant digital authorizations
Submit criminal background screening requests
Receive court search results through a centralized dashboard
Personnelgraph operates as a Consumer Reporting Agency (“CRA”) under the FCRA.

2. Platform Components

2.1 FCRA-Compliant Authorizations
The Platform includes functionality to facilitate the collection and storage of consumer authorizations required under the FCRA.
Customer is solely responsible for:
Ensuring authorizations are legally sufficient
Using the authorization workflows in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Personnelgraph does not provide legal advice regarding authorization requirements.

2.2 CourtRequests
A CourtRequest is a request submitted through the Platform to search for criminal court records in one or more jurisdictions.
CourtRequests:
Are initiated based on information provided by the Customer
Are subject to court availability, jurisdictional rules, and response times
May involve electronic access, manual retrieval, or third-party court systems
CourtRequests do not guarantee that records exist or that records will be returned.

2.3 CourtScopeAI
CourtScopeAI is an automated system designed to:
Assist in identifying potentially relevant jurisdictions based on information provided by the Customer and the subject of the background check
Determine appropriate courts for CourtRequests using jurisdictional logic and available data
CourtScopeAI:
Does not guarantee identification of all relevant jurisdictions
Relies on the accuracy and completeness of information provided
Is subject to limitations inherent in court systems and public records
CourtScopeAI is a decision-support tool and does not replace human judgment or legal review.

3. Search Coverage and Limitations
Criminal court records in the United States:
Are maintained by thousands of independent jurisdictions
Vary significantly in structure, availability, and update frequency
May be incomplete, delayed, sealed, expunged, or otherwise unavailable
As a result:
Not all criminal records are accessible or discoverable
The absence of a record does not indicate the absence of criminal history
Results may change over time as court data is updated
Personnelgraph does not guarantee comprehensive or continuous coverage of all jurisdictions.

4. Results and Reporting
Search results are made available to the Customer through the Platform dashboard.
Reports may include:
Identifying information
Jurisdictional details
Case-level data returned by courts
Customer is responsible for:
Reviewing reports for relevance and accuracy
Making employment decisions
Complying with all pre-adverse and adverse action requirements
Personnelgraph does not make employment recommendations or decisions.

5. Customer Responsibilities
Customer is solely responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete subject information
Using the Platform only for permissible purposes
Complying with the FCRA and applicable state and local laws
Interpreting and acting upon reports
Personnelgraph does not verify the accuracy of information provided by Customer.

6. No Guarantee of Completeness or Accuracy
Due to the nature of public records and court systems:
Personnelgraph does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of reports
Personnelgraph does not guarantee identification of all criminal records
Court response times and availability vary
The Platform is intended to support, not replace, Customer’s compliance and decision-making processes.

7. Modifications to the Platform
Personnelgraph may update, enhance, or modify the Platform, including CourtScopeAI, from time to time.
Such updates may:
Improve functionality
Adjust jurisdictional logic
Reflect changes in court systems or legal requirements
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of such changes.

8. Relationship to Governing Documents
This Service Description is governed by and subject to:
The Personnelgraph Terms of Service
Any applicable Order Form
Applicable FCRA compliance policies
In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service and Order Form control.
